Ticking Classic Steeps on Mt Stanley

I was lucky enough to have a fun day ticking classic steep lines on Mt. Stanley (3120 m) in Kootenay National Park a few days ago, with Joshua Lavigne and Ali Haeri.

Back to the Future, Part 2

Initially our plan had been to do at least one of the classic lines on Wedge Mountain. We were all totally floored by the view that opened in front of us as we toured in from the north. The North aspects of The Owls, Weart Mnt., Mt. Cook & Mt. Moe offered a dizzying array of big, cold, shreddable lines.

Fine Line, Sweet Summit

A few days ago I finally skied the NW couloir on Mt. Burgess, a 4000' line I had been wanting to take a closer look at for about ten years.

Glacier Express - Director's Cut

This the extended version of the Salomon Freeski TV Season 5 episode - Glacier Express. Until now it has only been seen at film festivals.

The 'Good Times' crew rides again. This time Kaj Zackrisson and Mike Douglas ski Switzerland using only the train to get around. In a challenging season in the Alps, the boys do a pretty good job of finding a lot of good powder.
